My monthly-ish pay-what-you-can workshops are back! These zoom workshops cover a variety of topics related to trauma-informed education. They’re informal and interactive, research-based but with a hot take or two thrown in for good measure. For January’s workshop, we’re kicking off the year by talking about dysregulation. What is it, what’s going on for students when they’re dysregulated, and what the heck are we supposed to do about it? This is less of a “ten quick strategies for calm breathing” workshop and more of a “let’s think through this together” workshop. Shift your lens, and the strategies will follow. So you want to write an education book, part 2
My next post in this series is now up! I talk about working with an acquisition editor to create your book proposal and then securing a book contract. I wish I had been able to read a post like this when I was writing my first book proposal, so I hope it’s helpful to some of you as you consider becoming an education author! Read the post, and then tell me what you think so far and if there are any questions you hope get answered in the remainder of the series.
Spring course: spots still available
Registration is live for my spring course on Radically Rethinking Classroom Management and there are still spots available! We start in February so you have plenty of time to get your ducks in a row before we begin. Full details and registration information.
Let’s work together!
I’m currently scheduling workshops, keynotes, and other professional learning partnerships for mid-February and beyond. Check out my website for more information on what I offer and get in touch to schedule!
Hi, Alex! I’m wondering if the sessions will be recorded - I live in Japan and won’t be able to attend the live sessions.
So grateful for your work! :)
