Boundaries and burnout workshop and free book study visits
Hi everyone, hope you are….um…hope this email finds you…uh…you know what, I don’t know how to write salutations when times are as strange as they are right now. So let’s just dive in, shall we? The work of equity-centered trauma-informed education remains essential, and I’m here to continue to support you to do it. Let’s learn together.
Pay-what-you-can workshop series: Teacher Boundaries
My next online workshop is coming up on February 25. We’re going to talk all about boundaries in education, specifically in the context of why boundaries can be so messy when we’re doing truly human-centered work. More details and registration.
Free book study visits
When I wrote Becoming an Everyday Changemaker, my goal was to create something useful to teachers who want to work toward equity and justice in schools but feel isolated, overwhelmed, or unsure how to begin. I think those concerns are relevant all the time, but may be feeling especially relevant now as our work is being systemically targeted. The book has helpful tools for finding your sphere of influence, gathering with your people, and choosing impactful places to get started or build momentum.
If you’re reading Becoming an Everyday Changemaker or Equity-Centered Trauma-Informed Education with a group of colleagues or friends or internet strangers, let me know! As long as my schedule allows, I’m happy to drop in to your book group for a free 30-minute Q&A session. Just email me at Alex@UnconditionalLearning.org to set up a time. I love connecting with readers and supporting your work.
